Seems like every piece of real silver I have starts to smell like a swamp after a few days of owning it. Could this be some sort of reaction with my skin? Is there anything I can do to get rid of the smell? Eww!

I'm not talking about cheap jewelry. It's nice silver. Never had this problem with the fake stuff or with gold.

It hasn't changed colors. Just bought a new necklace and wore it twice. Looks good, smells bad. Happens with all the silver jewelry. =(

it can be the water you shower with and if you swim a lot with your jewelry on...some cities put sulfur in the water and pools have chlorine which can cause your silver to change colors and possibly smell...the silver can be cleaned again to its natural color though....TRY TAKING YOUR SILVER OFF WHEN SHOWER, SWIMMING, DOING THE DISHES, ETC...

Try buying more expensive jewelry.

It might be so, try applying transparent nail polish at the back side (one that is in contact with your skin)
