6th movie is currently in pre-production, with a script approved. From what I can tell, it'll be released in 2008. Attached actors include those for the following characters:
Harry
Hermione
Draco
I'd imagine they'll start shooting sometime either this spring or summer. My bet is that the 7th movie will be shot about 6 months to a year after the 7th book comes out (Early spring/summer of 2008) and released in 2009.

Of course the movies will be made, all seven.... just to bore the audition.
Have you read the book anyway? Because if you have, I don't think you'd be eager to watch the movies..... after seeing the first three.
The books are great, a whole universe put together almost perfectly, everything has it's place.
The movies, however, are very bad-made, they lack the inventivity and they aren't interresting. The first movie was somewhat good, but the next ones were not so attractive and they're getting worse and worse. The 4th one was a total failure.
I don't even want to watch the next ones.

I hope so. I read somewhere that everyone is under contract to make all 7 films except for the 3 kids- Harry, Ron and Hermonie. So they can walk at anytime or demand more money. With Daniel doing plays and Emma stating that she may not want to continue, there is always that chance that the movies will be made with a replacement or possibly wouldn't be made at all. However, it's a huge franchise and there would be alot of potential money lost.

I bet they get them all out over the next 3 summers, this July book 5, Summer 2008 book 6 and Summer 2009 book 7

If they didn't make all the books into movies that would be a pretty stupid idea now wouldn't it? Why start making movies and then just stop at five when there are seven books? All the movies will be made into books and money.

yeah i think they will..especially because the last book is coming out, when they make the last movie, it'll make the most money..though they cant continue on after the last book because Rowling kills off Harry, they can still make alot of profit from the last book. Not continuing with the movie will be pretty awkward.

Yes, those Harry Potter books will all become movies someday. I am not into them, but there are many that are. =)

i dont know why Order of the Phoenix took 2 years, but Prisoner was the first one thrown off the year by year plan of the movies. and that was due to a fire that destroyed a lot of the sets (set em back a year).

Probably, that thing is a gold mine; with all the books, games, movies etc. They start filming them one after another, but I don't know since Daniel Radcliffe is doing his nudy play.

It's just that when HP7 comes out, I don't want Daniel ready for Social Security retirement
