I always wash towels, sheets and tea towels
on the hottest wash I can. On my washing machine (and taken from the manufacturers book), it's 95 degrees centigrade.

I am in England UK and my machine is a Zanussi ZWF1221W

hope that helps you a bit

I think hot water in america is considered 120 degrees F.

Warm water would be around 80 degrees F and cold would be straight of of the tap.
