depends which you do more texting or calls.
I would prefere the sidekick because not too many people have it yet, you can get some really nice faceplates, and the screen is big!
The razor is over rated in my humble opinion. I have one of those phones that the keypad slides down to show a bigger screen- not one of those mint or chocolate ones- it's older, and I have a normal flip phone.
