I'm using a Dell photo all-in-one printer 922. When I turn the main printer power on the power button lights on but none of the buttons work, including the power button. Also when I try to perform any printer actions using the computer it tells me the printer is not connected. I've tried restarting the computer, adjusted the printer cables and turning the printer on and off but nothing seems to work. Help!

Tried the add hardware thing, it didn't work. It was working all along and it only recently stopped working.

Dells are generally poorly made inexpensive printers. If Dell tech support is unable to help you out anymore replace the printer.

You will find better quality and more accessible cartridges with every other major brand.

It sounds as though the printer is experiencing serious hardware problems that cannot be fixed regardless of how many times you uninstall and install the driver.

You have to go into add hardware in under your control panel.
