All the colors have the shade of white and black in them . For instance yellow has white and Violet has a light shade of black . So they combine to form white.
it is because,violet,indigo,blue,green... and the red colours have white colour in common and in equal proportion in all the colours.when all the colours are put together the largest amount o light is shown out.that is white. Everyone of the color is unique .

roy g biv are the colors of a rainbow wherein the only primary colours are red yellow and blue white is the absence of all colours and black is the presence of all colours which in turn make them shades.
