i used monistat 1 how long do i have to wait to try monistat 3?

hi i had a yeast infection, my discharge was yellowish, creamy smelled like buttermilk. i used monistat 1 and a few days later the discharge was thin and clear. now a few weeks later, the yellowish creamy buttermilk discharge came back and it itches a lil. im not sure if its because i shaved but i have small bumps on my vagina too.. i think its because of shaving because i was tested for stds and i came out clean. anyway i was wondering if i should try monistat 3 since maybe monistat 1 didnt seem strong enough? is it a yeast infection? I cant go to the doctor right now because i dont have any sick days. so i would like to take care of this on my own if possible. please let me know if everything im saying is wrong.. i really think its a yeast infection thanks

It is better to use monistat 3 because it treats it over a course of 3 days intead of 1. wait a week than try it again. The bumps and itching is fdrom shaving. (ingrown hairs). hope i helped
