He seems to pick the same teams every year (whoever is at the top and Duke). Anyone can ride the big teams and yell stupid phrases every game and act like they are hyped up on speed. But does he really know what he is talking about? I watched him call the Texas game the other night and every time Kevin Durant touched the ball he said the same things, "this kid is such an unbelievable talent, blah blah blah"........how bout a little speculation dickie v?

i can think of about 20 people who have plenty of energy and 100 who have 20 times the personality that he has. being an announcer is all about knowledge and analyzing

Vitale is the most overrated annalist is sports. I could do his job. All he does is scream at the camera and people seem to love it.

I don't think so. Vitale's simply passionate about basketball and no other sport. he's especially particular about the ACC, abd please, don't get him started about the UNC-Duke rivalry! He'll talk your ear off and go non-stop for months on in! Trust me when I say that when it comes to big-time college hoops, there no one better then Dickie V, baby!!!!
