If u train them well. This is what to do if it doesn't go well (if they learn 2 like each other as kittens and puppies then they should get along but this is just incase.)
Bring the cat into a room. Give it a treat. Then bring the dog in. Give the dog a treat. If the cat hisses or growls at the dog or the dog fights with the cat, they dont get a treat. Keep doing this until they dont fight.
2 many treats r unhealthy! Stick with tummy rubs and praises if u dont want them 2 get fat.

They should, I have a Shitzu and plenty of diffrent cats, they got along good, but introduce them young and slowly.

Yes, they can. I've seen plenty of dogs and cats raised together who became best buddies.
