Artificial is an option, but very expensive. I also could do the nasty with a guy(Im not looking forward to that) Any other suggestions to get this done as fast and inexpensive yet still legal?

There is no law to prevent you from getting pregnant.
However if you separate, your partner has absolutely no rights as a parent to that child and always risks the possibility of losing that child forever.
If you have a child using the natural method, the father will always have the ability to take your child from you in the future.
Make your choices wisely.

most places adoption is not legal. as you state IVF is expensive. but it looks like if you cant go the IVF way then the guy thing is whats left. I dont know if it is any cheaper then going to a sperm bank, but the guy throwing up in a cup may be an option.. yea I know its gross. its gross for me to sit here and type it..but you will need to make sure that the guy knows that you and your wife wants a baby. but you have to becareful on who you get as he might try and take the baby. also the one who gives birth will be the only one to legally make the decisions for the child. or atleast thats how it is here. and your wife wouldn't be allowed to adopt it unless you signed over all rights. so just becareful and think it out very good.
My gf wants a child in the future. and these are everything we have been debating on how to go about doing it..

Quick and cheap? Use a guy willing to give up all parental rights. There is a chance that you could *not* get pregnant the first time and have to "do the nasty" multiple times to get pregnant.
Better but costly? Artificial insemination.
Then again if you go with the first one you could try using a pre-op transwoman.

My wife and I are looking into the same thing. Don't listen to the idiots who say you have to have sex with a man and raising children in a gay home is bad for children. Most of us have enough brains to know that there's absolutely nothing damaging to a child to have two moms or 2 dads. I don't blame you for using a turkey baster!
As for the pregnancy, I think you should scope out your male friends and find one who is healthy. Ask him if he would donate his sperm so that you and your wife could have a child, and then test him for any disease, and find out his family health history. He can deposit his sperm into a sterile cup, and then you or your wife can inseminate her. Some lesbians will have intercourse just to get pregnant, but I would suggest the turkey baster first. Do it right before her period - the days right before she bleeds when she'll be more fertile. Also - fresh sperm is more potent than the freeze-dried sperm, so if your donor can produce it for you in one room, your wife should be ready in another room for you to inseminate her. It may or may not work the first time, so be prepared in case that happens. Good luck!

You could do what me and one of my bestfriends & I plan to do.... We both want a baby but aren't gettin it the old nasty hererosex way... he gon do what he does in a bowl or tube or whateva and my girl and i are going to insert with a turkey baster...lol. okay, ya know how a guy has a penis and shoots his sperm while having Intercourse. Well, do the same thing, get sperm from a sperm band and use a turkeu baster.

If you are too poor to afford artificial insemination (which is like $300), you are too poor to be having a child. If you are too poor to afford adoption, you are too poor to be having a child.

your best bet would be just to do it the old fashioned way and get it over with. hell, get a few drinks in you (as well as a guy of you and your partners choice) and try to make the best of a weird situation. good luck!
