My favorite patriot is nearly impossible for me to choose, there are to many to choose from and they all did different things due to the circumstances they found themselves in.
Nathan Hale could be a saint, nobody has any idea.

FIrst, i love the ireland quote up there.

I think its almost impossible to pick my favorite quote or the best patriot.

Jefferson for the whole decleration deal, even though he owned slaves as even africans did. People that write that stuff are the first to defend Mohammad even though he had a 6 year old wife!!

You have Abe Lincoln and the Gettysburgh address, Thomas Paine and his Common Sense, Woodrow Wilson has some good ones, plus the league of nations was a good idea, Teddy Roosevelt has great quotes, Franklin Roosevelt the classic fireside chats, Nixon, Reagan, almost every founding father and president we've ever had.

The absolute best has to be... Dan Quayle, any of his quotes are great.

I guess not a patriotic quote, but by a great Patriot.


btw...patrick henry patrolled the streets a few months later, making sure slaves did not go for the English proposal of liberty in exchange for opposing the Revolution...so he didn't give the slaves death, NOR liberty...he was a HYPOCRITE.
and people hail Patrick Henry as some sort of hero....

lemme tell you Jefferson, the author of "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" owned slave(s).

Even Washington, who is God-ified, had more flaws than the average human.
