Do the ECW originals really stink?

well, in my opinion, the only ones worth watching are Sabu and RVD..and i guess Rhyno from TNA. i hate the sandman, dreamer, mahoney.

i personally never liked the old ecw, and i absolutely hate the new one more. i like wrestling, not weapon beatdowns. wrestlers like bret hart, mr. perfect, owen hart, chris benoit....technical wrestlers who had talent..not these pieces of crap who can only use weapons to make themselves look good. i like rvd and sabu for their acrobatic skills...i admire dreamer b/c ive never seen him get respect.

They're all spot monkeys. Dreamer's not a bad brawler, nor was Raven for that matter. Sabu can't do anything unless he has a chair, a middle rope, or a high lofty area at his disposal. Rob WAS good back in the day. Jerry Lynn and Rob had some wonderful matches, I mean Flair/Steamboat quality. Sandman is, and always will be, a talentless hack. Rhino, and yes it was originally with an I people, don't let WWE brain wash you, has the basics down fairly pat. Tajiri, Little Guido, Steven Richards, and Nova/Simon Dean were talented. Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, Steve Corino and CW Anderson were talented. EDDIE GUERRERRO, CHRIS BENOIT, CHRIS JERICHO, LANCE STORM, DEAN MALENKO, SUPER CRAZY, PSICHOSIS, AND REY MYSTERIO JR. ARE ALL TALENTED WRESTLERS. Do NOT stereotype a brand because of it's front runners. A lot of good came from the originals. Now I wouldn't bring up these names if you hadn'tve dragged Rhino into this, but regardless, ECW had talent. Oh, and James "Sinister Minister" Mitchell was in ECW as well, and he's arguably the best manager out there today.

Mahoney I will agree with you on. ECW before WWE got involved was not the way it is now, this isnt even really ECW if you ask me.

ECW use to be billed as homicidal, and suicidal and some of the originals are pretty good The Dudleys, RVD, Sabu, Benoit, Malenko, Meysterio, and a lot more had appearances on the original ECW. What WWE has done to it now is to strip away everything that was good about it, and put characters on the show that couldnt stand up on the other two shows. ECW originals are just as talented as anyother employee of the WWE, its just the crap tha McMahon writes for them that makes them look like they suck nuts.

Yes. Old ECW guys are all pass their prime and new ECW guys don't have any old ECW substance that made it so popular 10 years ago. ECW 1-hour weekly show is still weak compare to TNA's Impact, which is also a 1-hour show but has far better quality. ECW supposes to be different than the other two WWE brands but WWE blows it.

Apparently you never saw the old ECW before Vince made it into this garbage we have today. This isn't ECW. Its just the WWE and Vince is using it to make ECW originals "job" to his WWE talent. No the originals do not suck, Vince does for making ECW crap. The originals left it all in the ring in the old days and put on great matches. I can't say the same for the WWE stars of today.

I miss the OLD ECW. This refurbished crap that McMahon has forced down our throats is a crock of s*it and everyone knows it. Of course, Paul Heyman didn't help matters by going bankrupt.
