ACCKK!! I cannot BELIEVE this..I am surprised all the other border agents didn't quit in protest! I am having a hard time believing our government allows this...and the idiot smuggler to file charges...it should be LAUGHED out of court....and the border agents paid the $5 Mil for going their job in spite of the idiots they encounter every day....This story P'd me off when I heard it the first time, and it still does....Those Border Agents deserve a MEDAL...not incarciration....

If there was any justice, the drug smuggler should have all assets seized. That is the law but seems to have been forgotten. The agents should be released and compensated from his assets. And the dug smuggler should face murder charges as no doubt there are those who have died from his wares.

It was a bad decision of the courts. I support the Border Patrol.
