Tell you what...go to TJMaxx or Marshall's and you will find those brands there, and save a bundle of money. You don't have to go to the actual store. And I really hope you don't want to shop there because every other kid does and they'll think you're cool if you do, because that's just pathetic...no offense.

As for aquiring the money...you can baby-sit, clean someone's house, garage or yard, wash cars, or get a paper route.

First of all, ask yourself why it is so-o-o important to shop at those particular stores?

Items that will give you exactly the same look are available for much less money elsewhere except the licensed items with the store name.

What I do is buy the least expensive items with the store name on it like tanks or tees and then copycat items for less money to complete the outfit. Smart and stylin' is the best way to go.

Buying everything at a high price is silly. True friends won't like you more or respect you more if you do. Who knows, they may even think you're so rich, they'll want to borrow money!! : o

As for a job for a 13 year old, being a very good babysitter is one of the best options. Start building written references from your clients, xerox them, and give a set to each new client. They will be impressed with your maturity and organization & they'll be able to call your other clients to feel secure that you're reliable. Pretty soon, you'll be able to charge higher rates because of your reputation. Good luck!!

try mowing the lawn for neighbors...or go to you local senior center and put up an ad stating what you can do..
washing windows, vacuum, painting, cleaning rain gutters, mowing, raking leaves, carrying in groceries or taking out the trash most senior citizens will likely have something that needs to be done but can't quite do it themselves anymore...but don't charge too much because they are on a fixed income...if you do a good job and at a reasonable price then chances are you can make money at this till your out of high school and you will make friends that you will treasure...or you could go to the local business and ask if you can deliver their cirrculars on sales they are having that week..you would be cheaper than paying to put them in the local paper. i have done both of these as a youth and made lots of money at both...you could also check into babysitting

Oh of course! Where I live, 5 year olds go shopping there. With their mothers of course. So, I'm sure a 13 year old could shop there.

I knew of a kid who bought a bulk of chocolate candy from a grocery warehouse and sold each candy individually (enough to make a profit) at school to classmates to earn money-ask your parents about this one. You can also baby-sit for a family you know, wash neighbor's cars, or if it has snowed, can help (partially) with shoveling snow off of driveways or if it's sunny where you live, you can offer to mow a neighbor's lawn, pick weeds or rake leaves. If you can bake, make brownies or lemonbars or something and sell those to classmates and neighbors and family friends.

Go to op-shops (second hand stores) and garage / yard sales.

You will even find stuff with the tag still attached, sometimes, for under $5!

Do housework or yard work for neighbors, relatives or friends. Wash cars, make then sell jewelry, crafts, or holiday decorations.
