How can i make a tapestry medieval style without having to buy a kit?? preferably without spending much money??

Unless you already understand basic weaving terminology, know how to dress a loom, can do a plain weave and own a tapestry loom, I think finding a class to take or someone to teach you one-on-one would be the best best.

Honestly, if you can find a kit, I'm thinking it would be cost effective than trying to assemble all the separate materials yourself. Tapestry weaving is a major time commitment. If you are going to put in the time, I wouldn't skim on your materials.


Unless, of course, you mean something embroidered (like the incorrectly named "Bayeaux Tapestry") which isn't really a "tapestry" -- true tapestries are always woven. However, if that is what you are interested in, Google the words "Bayeaux stitch" - there are plenty of sites that will show you.
