Actually males outnumber females slightly 3.3 billion to 3.2 billion females. As nearly as the census can tell.

I don't think that is possible, there is like 6 billion people in the world, for a 2:1 ratio that would make 4 billion women and 2 billion men. Women live longer than men so that would up the female population slightly. I'd be surprised if more than 55% of people were women, it's just not statistically realistic

It's more like three or four to one, except in Asian countries where they kill baby girls. Right now, China has twice as many men as women, and within the next couple of decades, it is predicted they will have three times as many men. YBIC

I believe the ratio is something around 51.2-48.8.

Then again, most statistics are made up.
