I try to make some time, but some days it's limited. I usually have a night devoted to each child, and a date night for my husband.

It is not really that difficult to do! Everyone is different of course. By the time I get home after work I have about 2 1/2 hours before my kids have to go to bed. So homework, dinner and anything else that needs to be done with them is exhausting but I have after they go to bed to spend with my husband. Funny I love every minute of it though. Makes it all seem worth while, my life more full filled. But here is a question: what about working fathers? Are things really that different between the sexes for finding time? You just have to really want it, I guess!

Always? No, 97% of the time yes. I work 8 hours a day come home make dinner for my family and talk to my kids and husband about their days and enjoy my time with them. I have days that are rough at work and sometimes I come home and don't feel like doing this but being an wife and mother you push aside these selfish feelings and continue on.

I used to work full time - one job about 15 hours per week and other where I set my own hours so, about 15 more. Now I work about 10 hours per MONTH and spend the rest of the time as a stay at home mom/wife. I still find that the time spent working detracts from the time I have for my husband and kids negatively. But we are fortunate, I spend time each day helping to make them feel special and well cared for. Me too. Yeah, we eat together every night as well.

Good question, honestly I'm still copping up with it. I work in a night shift and so as my husband, my working sched changes every 2 months so it kinda pulls you down. We both are guilty not having time to spend for the kids. When we get home we only get to be with them for a cople of hours and sleep during the day and when we get off to work they are all asleep. It kinda eats you up thinking that you want the best for them but can't really find time to be with my kids. With my hubby we do make an effort to spend quality time together during weekends.
A lot of things need to considered if you are a working mom, im just a little lucky I have a full time nanny who takes care of the house and kids also (but I still get to cook). But then again I'm still left with so many things to do, frustrating and tiring but you have to suck it up. Thats marriage for you....

I work, go to school and have a child, and a live in BF. We always make time for each other. Every night after the kid's in bed, it's out time. We spend it together, we hang out, talk, do grown up stuff ;) On the weekends sometime I switch kids with my friend. Her son stays over night at my house, and the next day my son stays with her. Then we get to go out on a date.ANd on those other days, we all do something together.

I'm sorry to say, but no. This week it seems I'm more focused on my 5th grade son who is struggling in math and science. He did his homework before I got home, but then I had to check it and take him to the library, then study for a test with him. My husband is understanding for the most part - he is a student himself, and realizes how tough it is on me at times. I still cook supper almost every night, and we always eat together to talk about our day.
It takes a lot of patience and understanding!!!!

Yes, I do. I work part-time on weekends so that I can take my child to school. I take my daughter places after school and I spend time every weekday with my husband after he gets off work. We eat supper and watch a movie or play video games every night. About every other week we get his Mom to watch our daughter and we spend Saturday night and Sunday morning doing what we want alone together! : )

Working full time, going to school at night, four very active kids and a wild puppy. I don't think so, but I try to make time on the weekends.
