I think you might be a bit confused on exactly what a jar file is. I've included a Wikipedia link that describes it but the short answer is that a jar is very much like a zip file that is primarily used for packaging Java applications and their supporting files. Now you could store your MS Word files in a jar file (assuming you have Java installed on your system and use the "jar -cvf" command/flags) but this won't automatically make the contents of the file accessible on your cellphone. If you put your MS Word documents into the jar file you would only transfer the data to the phone but the phone. You'll still need an application that understands opening a MS Word document but now it will have to extract it from the jar file. If you really are curious about the jar file PhoneyBible, consider using the jar command to extract the file and examine the contents (make a directory on your computer and place the jar into it, use "jar -xvf PhoneyBible.jar", view the contents). NOTE: Java must be installed, the executables should be in your user or system PATH variable, and you are executing from a MS DOS prompt).

A jar document isn't something yet a zipper document in shape. in case you opt to transform a folder into Jar, persist with those steps: a) suited click and Compress that folder. this could create a .zip document. b) Rename the newly created .zip document and alter its extension to .jar the two utilising the UI or Terminal. The "jar" application may be able to artwork with this document. even nevertheless, i ask your self... Why could you opt to do some thing like this ?
