They have a package deal right now: 99cents installation.....Digital Phone, Cable, High-Speed Internet. I live in West Houston, is it a good idea to get this package? I currently do not have cable and only have dial-up connection to internet. Is there an alternative company I can go with? My main concern is to get high-speed internet for my new laptop. Thanks for the feedback! :)

The only concern I had was wwith the digital phone apparently there are issues with the 911 service it does not send you to your local Emerency somehow the phone routes it somewhere else But I have thought about doing the package myself my cable prvider has the same deal. I do think it is a great deal That one thing was my only concern

Roadrunner is a great internet service. Their cable is not so good however, at least if you live where I do. They have updated their software and they are having all kinds of problems with it. Its really frustrating and has been going on a for a while now. If you arent in an area where they have updated recently go for it. Otherwise I suggest Cox if they are available to you.

I recomend it, the high speed internet is great. I have Road Runner light & cant tell the difference. The phone is free long distance and its reasonable for all 3 here its like $89.00 a month (in Ohio)

I loved Time Warner in NC, it was great. I had their digital cable and Road Runner. Then I moved to Iowa, and got Mediacom... which totally sucks. I miss Time Warner... :(
