What will sonic andnthe secret rings be about?

Sonic and the Secret Rings: no idea on the plot, however I can give a general description of the gameplay...

- Rather than a free-roaming 3D platformer as the others have been, it will be more like a racing course with the player determining where sonic goes and how fast, finding secret routes and items along the way

That's all I can say aside from that fact that testers have raved about it thus far...*fingers crossed* :-)
