I am not afraid of dying .I am afraid of leaving all the people that i love behind and knowing how sad they will be. That's what really bothers me the most about it.

I use to be afraid of dying after, I had surgery i became less afraid for some reason.The reason people are afraid to die is paranioia, afraid of the unknown. They don't know what is going to happen to them after they died,plus they are afraid to let go.

No, I am firm in my Faith as a Kemetic and believe that when my body dies, I shall go to my judgment in the Hall of Ma'at and then enter the Eternal Field of Reeds until it is time to be reborn to continue my souls journey.
When my soul has finished it's journey, I shall enter the Eternal Field of Reeds for the last time to live among the Great Gods as one of them.
I also know that the object of each lifetime is not to walk slowly to the pier where the barque of Ra waits to take the souls of the deceased to the Judgment Hall. The object is learn the lessons you are supposed to learn, and then to slide into that boat at the very last second, laughing outloud and screaming "WOOHOO, What a ride!"

yes and no. I am afraid of the pain i may suffer while dying, but i am not afraid to die. Itll be a once in a lifetime experience. good luck

yes I am afraid of dying with no family around... or full of pain...I am not afraid to have my soul returned to the great dimintion to see my old friends and to await my rebirth...For every ending is a new beginning...I wonder what it will be like when i pysically come back to this world...I hope to remeber some of this world too.. No, I am not afraid of it, but I'm not looking forward to it, either. I believe in the afterlife and being reunited with love ones that I have lost. But I also value my life here on Earth, and when God decides it is my time, then I have no choice but to be ready.

That is actually a severe phobia of mine. It causes me a lot of anxiety to know I'm going to die one day. It mainly only bothers me late at night when I'm trying to sleep. I've asked others if that thought bothers them but I seem to be the only person bothered my that fact.
