Okay, I won the last bet and here's a new one: Can I get a real diamond ring for less than $75? Here are the stipulations:
It must be a real diamond (no lab simulated), must be on a real gold ring (white or yellow), must be the only gem present, and there must be less than 4 stones total. If anyone can help me, I'd be very grateful. Please post links only.

Thanks!

Try the pawn shop you'll get a bigger diamond (they have a thing to test if it is real!)

1) Look through magnifying glass Real diamonds are formed under the earth crust with the help of natural forces acting upon it over million of years. Due to this there are imperfections in the carbon. A real stone will be perfect - absolutely perfect. Even there are synthetic diamonds which is not identifiable. Its better to take it to an expert. 2) Sandpaper test. since diamonds are one of the world's hardest stone and it won't be scratched by the rough surface. If you scratch sandpaper to a real diamond then nothing will happen but if it's a cubic zirconium, it will scratch it up. 3)Fog Test. Breathe hot air on your diamond as you would do on a mirror. A fake diamond will fog up for a short period of time whereas a real diamond will not because it won't retain the heat

Go to KMart on the web. Not only do they have a 1/16th Carat real diamond solitaire ring in 10K gold, it is under $60.00!!!

If the source link I've listed doesn't work, do a search for solitaire diamond 10K ring and click on the K-Mart site. Whoo-hoo!!!

Yes, you can ,it might not be all that huge but if it is huge it isn't real any how for that price. I like to go to Kmart and buy diamonds and gold when they put their fine jewerly on sale at 70% off. I always get great deals than. You can try ebay and overstock.com but I would be leary of such claims on those site-buyer beware there.

I highly doubt you are going to find one that cheap. The only place where you might would be ebay and sometimes thoses people lie. Good luck

wow, that would be one microscopic diamond! The gold ring itself is going to be close to $75 if you get lucky.

Edit: OMG, I found one! can't verify it's authenticity though http://phoenix.craigslist.org/jwl/273193571.html

Wow, I'll have to come back--I'm surprised these people said yes so quick. I didn't think you could get a record player needle for that price.
