I had horrible morning (all day actually) sickness until about mt 15 or 16th week. I ate crackers in bed in the morning. Also, try to drink weak tea after you eat anything, about an hour after. I also ate bland food like applesauce, mashed potatoes, etc. A good rule of thumb is: BRATT. Bananas, rice, applesauce, tea and toast.
Ginger tea also helped me. The B6 supplement made it worse. Peanut butter also helped, espcially if I ate it before going to bed. A high protein snack before sleeping can ease morning sickness.

Anything with ginger! Ginger snaps, ginger ale etc. I had a case of ginger ale in the house during my first trimester because I was sick so often. It helps so much! Also there is anti nausea liquid that would be helpful at night. I think it's called Emitrol. It helps at nights since you aren't supposed to eat right before bed. I wanted Wendy's while I was pregnant. Of course, I'm a sucker for the double cheeseburger. Laying off the greasy stuff helps. I'm sure you're doing that because is makes morning sickness worse. Good luck and congratulations!

I would save the big cheeseburger for when you feel better which should be around your 4th month you'll feel much better and a lot more hungry but don't eat too many of them lol. Anyways if you have a local Motherhood store they sell preggie pops and those worked pretty good for in my first pregnancy. I have heard ginger helps. I drink sprite or gingerale sometimes that does the trick although sometimes nothing does, just hang in there it will be over soon.

Morning sickness is a misnomer because women who are pregnant (less than 4 months) have nausea and vomiting (N&V) for the whole day, not just in the morning. N&V during pregnancy is due to increasing hormones (progesterone) which causes slow movement of our digestive tract. N&V is severe when pregnant women are hungry, so usually, early in the morning. Make it a habit to carry soda crackers in your bag. Put soda crackers on a table near your bed, and munch on them before getting out of bed so you won't feel very nauseous. Don't worry, morning sickness will improve after 16 weeks of pregnancy. Your're almost there.

You can have a giant cheeseburger..lol.. but I know it will not be any good after the fact. You can try flavored water, light popcorn, tea, sprite, you can also take B6 and 1/2 a unisome tablet. It is a sleeping pill, but it was made for morning sickness in pregnant women. You can try eating ice as well, but do not make a habit of it, ice can make you iron deficient. Good luck.

This is just my own personal experience . But I had morning sickness morning ,noon & night . So consider yourself lucky it's only @ night and most peoples go away soon ,I had it 4-ever ! In my experience the only thing that helped was lying down and- never- get up real fast . Get up slowley ,and you can eat any small snack a piece of bread a 1/2 penut butter sandwhich . The idea is to have somthing in your stomach -that is'nt too harsh . The best of luck yo you sweetie .

I had this same problem at first. I'm 22 weeks and the sickness is gone but during the first few months I had "Night" sickness. I just tried to maximize my eating during the day and let it taper off at night. Alot of times I'd eat something with carbs like noodles or cereal because my regular meat and vegetable/salad dinners just werent working. It made me feel much better to eat bigger and more nutritional meals during the day. Then I'd just come home at night and have some juice and cereal or macaroni and cheese for dinner. Hope this helps you!

Eat whatever sounds good to you... when I was at that point, I was very sick for about 3 weeks, and ate mostly eggo waffles. Crackers were too salty for me, the waffle really hit the spot at the time.
Congrats on your baby!
