the x-intercept is where y = 0 so

y = 4x + 3
0 = 4x + 3
4x = -3
x = -3/4

Best of luck! :)

To find the x-intercept, set the y to 0:
4x+3=0
4x=-3
x=-3/4
(-3/4,0)

Check:
0=4(-3/4)+3
0=-3+3
0=0

I hope this helps!

Line cuts x axis when y = 0
4x + 3 = 0
4x = -3
x = -3/4
Line cuts x axis at point (-3/4,0) and this is the x - intercept.
