I got the DVD recorder today and am having problems with it. There was a big problem right from the start, I managed to put in the right plugs and get the installing page up but when I scanned the channels, it came up with 0 channels and the background was fuzzy. Since then I connected the cords to my free view box and no change, It dosent seem to have registered my channels. What do you think I'm doing wrong? The screen just goes fuzzy when its on.

so it works, but your having trouble tuning it in..?
connect the outside/indoor Ariel to the DVD recorder, then connect the DVD recorder RF out to digibox Ariel in, then digibox Rf out to TV Ariel in,
then do a new install/auto search** on DVD recorder tuning section..
**make sure dvd tuner is searching 'c' and not 's' freq'

regarding the scart sockets, connect the digibox to dvd then dvd to tv....
