Has anyone read the book:13 moons,by Charles Frazier?

Someone I know had mentioned reading this book once,is it any good?What is it about generally?Is it as good as Cold Mountain?

Not quite the answer I was hoping for.Can anyone give me any details on why they think this book is so terrible?Anything specific?

Yes, I read it. I loved Cold Mountain, but 13 Moons can be best described in one word: Terrible. Save your money.

However, I really really recommend Adam Williams' 'The Palace of Heavenly Pleasure'. Great, just great. Go buy it today.
