In my country we are having these discussion, also if you discover that the babay is coming with some serious desease would you still keep it?

if i was a girl, then i would, because it doesnt make sense to make a girl go through something as horrific as rape, and then have to have the baby of the a**hole that raped her. because giving birth is very intense, and i can't imagine having to go through that when you didn't want a baby in the first place. plus, abortion is better than a possible horrible life that the baby would be brought into, whether it is put into adoption or an orphanage or has to live without knowing who their father is.

No I would not. Women who are raped can get the PLAN B morning after pill. IT IS NOT AN ABORTION. IT DOES NOT KILL BABIES!
If you are already pregnant it will NOT end it. If you take it within 72 it's very likely to stop the pregnancy from happening. The sooner you take it the better the odds.
Again It is birth control NOT abortion.
I think it's horrible for a baby to come out of those circumstances and you don't know what kind of genetics the creep is passing on
Note to Bille: Rapist aren't likely to let you use birth control. Rape is not a choice. It is forced on you. NOBODY deserves to get raped. Please don't lower yourself to victim blaming.

This has not happened to me so I cannot say with certainty. Ethically speaking only, I don't believe in abortion because I view it as murder. So to kill a baby would not be an option.

I would have the baby in either case, but with the case of rape I could possibly give it up for adoption. It would depend on how I felt and how much I had dealt with what happened at the time of the birth.

I TRULY believe that with a god that is so forgiving then he would be able to understand that under the case of rape / incest then it would be OK to abort................as for the serious disease then I think that I would do my best to deal with that and have the baby, but I really do NOT feel that anyone, no god, court or some man signing a document has the RIGHT to tell me that I have to carry a baby that is a product of rape.............
with regard to the illness section, that almost smacks of what Hitler did and the ones that abort for the sake of wanting a boy / girl IE designer babies.................

Yes in both situations. Everything happens for a reason, and life presents obstacles. It is having the ability to overcome these obstacles that creates character and a fulfilling life.

We'll it's sad and i know it's wrong but if i was rapped I would probably kill it,but if it had a serious disease i would most likely keep it.

well, if i were completly rapped, i'd have to question how on earth i got pg in the first place! now if you had used cling wrap you would not have this problem, try it next time!
