Letter bombs are usually indicative of dissatisfaction by persons or organisations who consider laws, regulations ,or suchlike to be unjust and punitive without satisfactory recourse . At this early stage we are not privy to the reasons for resorting to a letter bomb campaign, however, to suggest a Summer of discontent is a bit far fetched . We all remember the riots about the Poll Tax in which the Government was unprepared to listen to the protestations of the public in general, Who knows ? maybe this is the beginning of an uprising against the powers affecting motorists financially through the introduction of laws that seem only to serve the filling of the governments coffers with more and more stealth taxes. eg, red routes , cameras , traffic wardens , residents parking bays , etc, etc, It seems to me that London , where i live, has become a quagmire of unnecessary laws created to entrap motorists as a form of revenue . Since Ken Livingstone became Mayor he has become the overseer of angry disputes that effect everyones daily life.
