how many of you have "the gift"?

Question

i'm talking about the sixth sense...
being able to sense spirits or see them. being shown things or seeing into the future or emotionally controlling things....
can anyone explain why or how to get rid of this thing? i'm tired of the sleepless nights and the hair raising feelings...

You need to see a holistic counselor, someone skilled in hypnotherapy and past life regression, that sort of thing.

I can sense spirits but just, sometimes,get glimpses of the future. No emotionally controlling things though.

well you're not alone.

i believe everyone has the ability, but some people ignore it, or were able to use it as a child and have since forgotten,some people are ignorant to it all together, or they dont want to use it, etc.
It runs in the family. My cousin is able to see people who have passed over already. He is unaware that he has any gift however, as he's not mentally ready to grasp the concept just yet. But he can describe in full detail family members who have passed over when he has never met them, nor seen a picture.

I can tell you I have sensed spirits and Angels. I have seen things, ("walkers" for instance). When we were going through a death in the family, my mother and I were quite upset. During this time period, many of the electrical devices in our house ceased to work. First my mom's hair dryer, then mine, then the microwave, then the clothes dryer, then our big screen tv. After our grieving was turned down a notch or two, everything in the house was fine.

your third eye is probably open. go to your bookstore and look at some "new age" books regarding spirituality and what not. find other people in your area who experience the same thing and form a learning group.

as far as seeing the future goes, I know some people who have been shown things. But remember, the future is not set in stone. God gave us free will, and with that, we have the ability to change our destiny.

Embrace what you've got girl. Read up on it. Learn how to protect yourself so you'll be able to sleep. There's more to this world than any of us truely know.

Any gift that is given cometh down from the Father of Lights. Are you saved? If not, then this gift you got could be something other than what you believe it to be. If you have a gift then what is it? How do you use it? how long have you had it? God does not give any man "sight" into the future, he gave the prophets divine revelation, and they then told the people what would would happen, but never were they able to se the future of thier own power. Could be something else.

I would not call it a "gift" as much as a "curse". There's just something disturbing about seeing death take someone.

You may never be able to get rid of it completely, but if you stop believing and telling yourself that the you see and feel are not real, it will mostly go away. If the feelings are really strong, you will still feel them. Also, if you feel really strongly about a person, you may also still see their future in your dreams.

If you don't want it, you can learn to tune it out, like tuning out the sound of crickets in the Summertime. It will always be there in the background however.

i think we all have that gift... the hard part is tapping into or using it!
You control it with self control! Hard as heck! but you'll figure it out!
