A healthy couple has about a 25% chance of getting pregnant each cycle. And if you use an early result pregnancy test you can test as soon as 12 days past ovulation however the tests are more accurate if you wait until the day your period is supposed to start( I know how hard that is!) Good luck!

Well you have done everything you can at the right time so fingers crossed - you can take a home pregnancy test as early as 4 days before your period is due but there is a lower percentage of the result being accurate the earlier you test (ie it may read negative but you may be pregnant - you dont get false positives!) You can get a blood test at the doctors which is much more sensitive and can detect a few days after conception but they may only do this test under certain circumstances & may unfortunately tell you to wait in meantime for missed period - but I may be wrong! If you do fall pregnant this first try you will be very lucky, if not try not to be too disapointed. Many couples take a while to conceive and that is perfectly normal. Start taking pregnancy vitamins to make sure all the relevent nutrients are waiting in your body & start having intercourse up to 5 days before as well as during ovulation. Sperm can live for 5 days in the body & that way has time to swim to the necessary area waiting for the egg to be released when you ovulate. Good luck!

I got pregnant first time I ovulated after coming off the pill, other people take much longer. There is no way of knowing. Todays pregnancy tests are much better than a few years ago, you dont have to wait until youve missed a period, but you need to wait to make sure your hormone levels have risen enough to be detected by the test. I would wait 7-10 days to be sure.

You have about a 25% chance of getting pregnant, although maybe a little higher in reality seeing as you are young.
It is best to have sex before ovulation, however, as if you wait until you are ovulating, you might miss your chance.
There are some pregnancy tests that say they can give a result up to 4 days early, but they are not very reliable if you use them that early - only 56% of women who are pregnant will get a positive result 4 days early. Therefore it is best to wait until the first day of your missed period, unless you fancy wasting some money!

Right first of all relax, your going to have to wait until you are about 4 days away from your period to find out by taking an early indicator test. I know this is an exciting and tense sign but your body will be changing after coming off the pil so every little change may or may not mean you are pregnant. Good luck and I hope your are.

The chances are good as you were ovulating and did not use contraception.
There are tests that work at about 4 days before your period was due but it is better to wait until you are at least a day or so late so that you do not get a false neg. I tested the day before my period was due and then a day after it was supposed to come and both were neg. But when I tested at 5 days late it was finally a positive.

The chances are very high since you are off the pill. You can start testing about 5 days before your period is due. Good luck Hon.

Odds are 20% with each cycle and you can test in about 12 -14 days.

well, everyone is different. usually the best time to do a home pregnancy test is about a week after your missed period. there are home pregnancy tests out there that you can do a few days before, but not always accurate. good luck in your endeavors to have children. my husband and i are in the same boat.
