You guys are so mean & nasty about Ronaldo from Brazil. Why cant you people see his had knee injuries - that is why he hasnt been playing well. Cant you all just appreciate his talents & skills, How many awards has he won, he has even broken world records that so many other players have tried to break. Where is the respect for the legend . Come on people even great players fail, no one is perfect , He has had a tough time give him a break.
People are so quick to forget all the great stuff he has done & now all they want to remember is the last 2 years. The important thing is that he has learned from his mistakes & he is now making it right by training hard.
I cant believe the nasty comments some of you are posting about him, When he does get back into top form then you people will start praising him , now you want to kick him when his down. H e has been an excellent player for many years - so acknowledge that.
STOP BEING NASTY ABOUT RONALDO OK!

I agree. People comment on the negatives instead of positives. I mean look at all the awards he has won, the records he has broken. Imagine if he didn't have knee trouble he would have been playing amazing right now. In my opinion he is the best striker in the world and is a legend.

Granted he has done great stuff. Many records and great goals throughout his career. I am a big fan of his but I can also recognize that he is past his prime. With the injuries he has had, he will never be at his best. He only broke the record on goals in WC because his team helped him do it. I think they were too focused on helping him break a record that the big picture was lost. He is a great player and a "legend," and what does that imply. Like all legends they are a thing of the past. There are new players that need to be recongnized like Ronaldo was recognized when he was young. Had he not been discovered and Brazil decided to just stick with Rivaldo, he would not be where he is now. No one is hating on him but we are just being realistic and see the truth.

You are right. Ronaldo was a great player and injuries have messed him up lately. But he also got the big head with all the attention and money. No denying that.
He needs to shape up. He still has all those skills but he is overweight and for a striker that is a big no-no. If he trully wants to get goals, nowadays, with the young defenders out there, he needs to lose weight (good for his speed and especially to aleviate the issue on his knees).

As an athlete, Ronaldo has to take the good with the bad. In today's media and sports, it's all about what has the athelte done lately. And Ronaldo has not done much. Maybe with a new team, he'll return to his good form.

Ya. I think everyone is unfair. Although he isn't my fave player I think it's only fair to give him a chance. Yes. I agree with you. People forget all the great stuff ppl do! It's not only towards footballers but also towards teammates and all that!

They are mean because they are jealous. Those who say bad things about him would actually give everything to be like him. The same thing is with Beckham.
