I think so if you are active socially, and have a good group of friends. Then you really appreciate being alone for a while.

I live alone and I have honestly never been happier in my life of 59 years. Occasionally I seek companionship, but I enjoy my life.

Yes if you have activities (church, social groups, etc) to keep you busy. You should also be busy with your work. We human beings are social animals and need contact with people. We can live alone but need interaction with others.

Yes it is. I was in a relationship that made me feel more alone than actually being alone. I was much more content by myself than with her.

I do. And it is possible.... Why not.... don't be afraid to be a loner. be friended with loneliness.Then at the end you'd appreciate loneliness, peace and quietness where you can truly 'hear' your own inner voice.
