i bought aan Ipod video last sunday at ambassadorappliances,inc. at greenhill vira mall.and it is deffective and i return it today to replace it, but they told me they will check it frist and when it really deffective they will change it but i have to wait for 2 weeks before i can get my new unit back. can i ask any body from dti if that right or wrong? can somebody from consumers right philippines help me in this problem of mine.

Unfortunately once you pass the 5 day grace period, the retailer can test the product.
It all depends where you buy merchandise. Some store have an unconditional warranty.
The big question is why don't you want an exchange. Usually a lot of stores will replace it immediately.
Often people buy something, use it (dress for a prom, TV for a Superbowl game) and then return it.
Would you want to buy something second hand just because they no longer wanted it.
Even if it is defective, as a retailer I would question why you didn't want a replacement.
