We moved from Ny to MD to get less snow and warmer weather. It is 30 here and 3 in NY. We got 1 inch of snow and schools are closed and they plowed twice. In NY they have 7 feet in some areas.
Only problem here is the wind. The north wind has blown the water out of Chesapeake Bay. I am not kidding, it was 5 feet below normal low tide and the boats are either sitting on the bottom or hanging from their lines. The water will come back when we get some south wind.

here in north east texas in my town it is 54 degrees farenheit. or 12 degreess celcious sounds better in the farenheit eh? lol mild winter this year but have had some cold nights and days
