I am very open to the music I listen to. I listen to techno, r&b, hip hop, country, death metal, alternative, you name it and I will probably like at least one group from that genre. So the question is, can anyone give me some groups that may not be well known at this time, but have really good music. I don't care what genre it is. I have recently discovered One Less Reason (they are from my hometown) and OneRepublic. So please give me some suggestions. Thank you for your time and have a nice day!

The Martians ( they are from my hometown Baltimore, Maryland)
Got this off a website:

Musical group, Baltimore

BEST: Lake Trout. This quartet, drawing from funk and jazz roots, is one of the most talented acts around. Amazing transformation - when one N-L editor saw them way back in '94, they sucked ***. Honorable Mention: The Martians. This is the hardest-working act in the city. They sound even cooler than they look.
WORST: Jimmie's Chicken Shack. Aren't we all sick of the hype yet? Sure, they got an album deal, but have you ever heard these guys? Eeccchhhh.

My suggestion is African Congo's rhythm-filled music. When listening to the music, make you feel like you are in the central of an Africa forrest with lots of trees and waterfalls. Full with peace and excitement.
