I am 13. I have a personal laptop, a RAZR, a mp3 player. I don't get everything I want. I am never bored. I have a TiVo and a big screen tv, i thinks it 32 inches. Everyone says I am spoiled but I don't have everything someone could ask for. I wish I could rock Polos and Lacoste but I can't because of my( my father actually) love for gadgets and technology.

Sounds spoiled to me.

Maybe we who say that are just jealous though.
I never had any of that. Everything I ever had I had to buy myself. Just remember that this stuff may not always happen. Be careful how you spend your money. You don't want to get into problems down the road.

The fact that you're blaming your dad's love of gadgets on why you're not rocking "polos and lacoste" just tells me that you are spoiled.

I think you are taken care of. I had those same things minus the razor and MP3 player, had the sony minidisk, when I was your age and im 34. "clampets for parents." However like you said you could always want more.

That depends, do you expect these thing and throw a fit if you dont get someting you want or do you appreciate what you have? A big screen would need to be much larger than 32"

I think you appear to be somewhat spoiled...However, Have you ever thought about the reasons behind these purchases? It sounds like avoidance. If your parents can give you gadgets to fill up your time then they do not have to interact with you and effectively parent. It's actually sad...and does you a disservice.

I think you are a little of both ,but mostly blessed because a lot of people can't afford to have all the things you have including my family because i would love to own my own home but can't afford it ,so will be renting forever!!

A little of both.
You get some of the things you want, but since their not necessary for your survival, I'd say both.

But, count your blessings! Cause some get nothing!
