Because she drove 900 miles to get to that woman, and she didn't want to stop to go to the bathroom. This is what the news reported. The article also said the astronauts wear adult diapers during take off and re-entry, so she already knew of this technique.

so she didn't have to stop to use the restroom on a 600mile trip I believe....what a nut job this woman was, and this is who is manning one of our spaceships? Incredible to say the least! All that training, all those years of training, and the paycheck must have been off the charts, now she gets caught, an American Astronaut, not only wearing a diaper, but with I believe the news said, tape or rope, a hunting knife, and plastic bags. We know what those items would have been used for, and we're not rocket scientists!!!!! Like Jr.High School Jealousy over a guy, only potentially lethal, Crazy!!!!

She wanted to travel without stopping. She wanted to make good time to meet up with that chic. I guess what I am trying to say is she is a crazy Bit_h! She is a astronaut alright, she needs to be living on the moon not earth.

She was wearing a diaper so she wouldn't have to make any of those bothersome bathroom breaks needed on a long drive while kidnapping someone. Oh, and she's whacked out of her mind.

so she could get her in a vehicle and drop the body a few thousand miles away without having to stop to use the restroom, thus keeping a headstart on everyone.
astronauts wear adult diapers in space while doing space walks when they can not go inside to use the restroom.

The "official" version is so that she wouldn't have to stop to go to the bathroom on her long drive to find the women.

she was crazy jealous and as she drove all those miles to try to kill that guy. she didn't want to take any bathroom stops so she could get to the airport as fast as she could so she would see him before he got on his flight...crazy.
