Try to take a deep breath before answering someone. You can take midol or something to help ease the pain of the period, which then makes you less agressive. You can also take a relaxing shower, go for a massage or do something for you alone. Sometimes you just have to be away from the people you love to get "it" out of your system.
Laughing helps too! Try to stay cheerful.

Being irritable or moody before or even during menstration is normal, but I would imagine being overly bitchy is just plain annoying. My guess is to isolate yourself from the world for 1 week every month, or at least warn everyone when it's getting close, so they can efficiantly evacuate the area. Slamming your hand in a car door would probably help too.

You are in control of your hormones - not the other way around. You can't use "raging hormones" as an excuse for poor behavior. Get a grip on your emotions and be responsible for yourself!
