What can I say that carora13 didn't already beautifully sum up?
A gay transman is an individual who was born with a female body and felt like a man, and took male hormones and probably has or would like to have surgery to remove the breasts and/or uterus/vagina and add a penis. The 'gay' part is the same as it is for non-transpeople- this individual is sexualy attracted to men, and since he is considered a man, he is thus seen as gay.
There are lots of gay transmen out there. You might like reading Matt Kailey's book "Just Add Hormones"; he is a gay transman, and it's a lovely, short, highly readable, funny, sweet, and informative book.
