What does it mean when you dream about snakes. Somewhere just on the ground, some where wrapped up in my jacket inside of my son's diaper bag and one tried to bite. It was a pretty powerful nightmare.

No I haven't watch any movie or Doc. or even seen a snake. That's part of the reason it was so weird.

A snake is a twofold symbol, prior to the advent of Christianity, the snake was seen as a symbol of wisdom and healing, and the ancients believed that is spontaneously generated, perhaps from lightning striking the earth.
Post-Christianity, the snake became associated with evil and temptation, via the story of the Adam and Eve in the garden. It is interesting to note that in that story, the snake is encouraging Eve to learn, ie it is still acting as a Wisdom guide, but more along the lines of "you must suffer to learn" or "ignorance is bliss, here's some knowledge to ruin it."
It most probably means that there is something you need to know that you really don't want to know, that is, in the back of your mind you know it already but don't want to acknowledge it. If you refuse to acknowledge it, things are not going to get better.

According to a book of dreams that I have it says dreaming of snakes commonly respresent uncertainty and deceit. They usually occur at times when you suspect someone is not to be trusted, you are being secretly persecuted, unfairly judged, misunderstood, or excluded.
I use to have snake dreams all the time when I was married to my ex husband which was one of the biggest lying cheaters that I've ever known. I read this meaning and realized that it was true.
Been divorced for 7 years and haven't had any more. Since it's on my mind, I'll probably have one tonight.

I heard when you dream about snakes it means that you have enemies. So you need to be careful who you hang around,because you never know they could be trying to hurt you and your baby.
