All of them. Read the Dirk Pitt books in order, they will make more sense. The stories are all independent of one another, but details about his career and personal life progress through the books. The earlier books are a bit rougher, and a bit more misogynistic, but in a fun way.

I usually don't enjoy books written with co-authors, but I like Cussler's Oregon Files and Numa files books, too.

you don't have to go in order. I haven't. The only Dirk novel I read
that I didn't like was Pacific Vortex. Dirk's attitude changes over
the course of his life. In the early novels he is more cynical and
becomes more easy going in the later stories. My favorite is
Deep Six. I am currently reading Treasure and it's very good.
Here's a list of what I have read and thought of them:
Pacific Vortex- Not that good
Deep Six- Excellent
Cyclops- Good
Inca Gold-Good
Sahara-Great
Flood Tide- Good
Atlantis Found-Great
Valhalla Rising- Good
Trojan Odyssey- Great
Black Wind-Great
