Why do adults think a pedephiles rights to molest are more important than a childs right to not be molested?

I see so many so called grownups who sexualize their children by dressing them like whores & sexy little people in skimpy clothing.
I see political correctness so out of whack that its more important for a child molester to be free to "hunt" children for sexual pleasure knowing that there is no real punishment for doing so, than it is for children to live their lives without fear.
What has happened to us as people?
Why are we not putting the children first?
These hollywood stars claim to care about kids because it sounds good on TV. But they are the first ones to cry injustice if a child molester is punished for hurting a child.
Why is a pedophiles freedom & life worth more than a childs?

This world certainly tends to go awry. Our court system is in dire need of a major redo! It feels as though there is no Justice possible in the courts where Lawyers play games with the law and completely rule out every man's testimony.
Take another look, it isn't just limited to child molesters, our system is sick.

Aren't we a self governed Nation?
Where are the responsible citizens who are the government?
How small is the percentage of population who are registered to vote, to have a voice in this problem? What small percentage of registered voters consistently vote? Vote knowledgeably?

We should be able to protect our children from much more, also consider health issues that predominmate because of improper
diet and lack of exercise.

Women and children are traditionally considered weak and routinely the last to benefit in society. It is a sad commentary indeed.

When will the majority actually rule? We seem to have government by the loudest minority at this time.

I take STRONG offense at the generalization that ALL adults proliferate child sexual abuse. As a victim and a mother of a victim I DO NOT agree with your statement. I believe child molesters and rapists should be given life sentences without the possibility of parole or better still an automatic death sentence because they will NOT stop! Yes they do get ineffective sentences. One man was released after 5 months in jail and he went on to rape two more babies before he was caught again. He'll get out in a couple of months and be right back at it. There is a police officer just arrested who raped a 5 year old girl. It's his SECOND time that they know of but he was still on the job. I could go on and on about this. The LAWS NEED to change or the children of this world will continue to suffer at the hands of these selfish, malicious, dangerous people. Those celeb slots talk about feeding children and teaching them about world events and such. There children who are not even safe in their own homes!!! Where's the question about keeping children safe from sexual abuse the first time? There are celebrities who are also child predators. And I don't mean just the most notorious Michael Jackson. You see where he's at!! 4 charges and he paid off three families. If he'd had the money he'd have paid this one off too!! There were 5 men caught with child pornography who had solicited for or had sexual relations with children 14 and under who are celebrities and some of the victims were young boys. I wish I made the laws! There would be major changes and a child predator would suffer greatly for the lifetime pain of his victim!!

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. In all that loquacity with a good dose of generalization you missed many facts. Anyone who rapes anyone, a child or an adult need to have consequenses. But if he are to have a truly civilized nation we have to ride a higher horse than those who may not. And to do that it is all about the facts.

Life imprisonment for anyone who as sex with a minor? That would stop or cure the problem? If it were. Should we then take the driving license from anyone who gets a DUI? If the logic is to not take a chance, then that would be a logical step. Because, as it has been said here, if you generalize that all who have had sex with a minor is a time bomb waiting to go off again, and they can't help it. It can be generalized that all who got drunk behind the wheel are alcoholics in the making and why wait until they plow through a cross walk or t-bone some mini van on the way home from dance practice. That argument goes right out of the window when you consider Mary Kay Letourneaul-Fualaau. Whatever she seen in Vili and he in her has indured. She was not one of those people said here with such venom as prowling around like a shark to attack any child away from the school. And it let alone, there would be many more such unions found. But I guess poor Vili must have been brain damaged or brainwashed(even though he admited in an interview he pursude her 1st)so well, even while she was jailed he could not escape her grasp(excuse me me while I get a tissue from laughing so hard) The true fact is not only are your children and the other children in the neighborhood more at danger from a dunk driver, but you and all the other adults are too. And if you took the ages of concent around the globe and average them out. It would be close to 15 1/2 years. Willing to call more than a doxen nations Austrailia being one of them, a nation of pedophile sympathisers?

And while we are at cleaning up all this nasty sex stuff. Why not go back to ancient Middle Eastern rule. You have sex outside of marrige you don't get life, you get death. But you get death faster if it was the same sex. Then there would be no deadly love triangles, teen pregnacies, babies out of wedlock and all those other unplasent but not illegal occurances.

Focus on the real issue. And choose the right argrument with the blinders off. the true fact is that the mere mention of molestation will get a person fired and maybe jailed for weeks if not more before the truth comes out. That is why it is called the "nuclear option" in custody battles. They hope to get a judge who thinks as you do. Facts not withstanding.

A life is a life. Luckily, we now live in a world where life is treasured. But as a consequence, the life of those who do crimes against the most vulnerable are protected as well. Believe it or not if we were in the days of our ancient ancestors, this would not be so much an issue because the act of being sexual with a child was not a point of focus for most of us in daily life. In those days if something was not accepted by a family or clan, the family would act on it and take justice.
Adults today have the mentality of a 12 y/o. Most believe that their life ended at age 30, and now they live out their dreams through their kids. If it means dressing the kids in skimpy clothing, its done. Yea they do set their kids up to become something of a target but more for the regular joe than for the Pedophile. Remember these individuals go for the innocence and appearance of weakness in the kids that they exploit. I believe the shame placed on us for being sexual beings, make people hide their sexuality, and eventually that sexuality is perverted due to the individual not evolving fully. Consider those poor kids. they are being told that what happened to them was evil, and sick. Now if you had been sexually abused, and told you took part in a sick act that you may have enjoyed (not always the truth) how would you feel? Is it not true that now we have victimized some of these kids? Now they go around thinking they are dirt, and filth. Is this justice for the inocent? If the pedophile molests a child and commits murder, like any other murderer if its without a doubt that they are guilty, Kill them as soon as possible.
Consider the Gay / lesbian issue. Gay and Lesbian concerns are mostly a recent concern for humanity. Look at what society has done to them. This was not an issue until some conservative christian or other group decided that this was against the wishes of God. The end result was a sub group of inocent people having to hide who they were to survive. Like drug abuse, once humanity sees something as a problem for the population its transformed into a bad thing that needs to be removed or hidden. The end result is another sub group of individuals who hide their using, turning it into shame for the individual. Drug use was in the past something used to transform our thinking. Some of our greatest thinkers were drug users. some of our greatest qualities as a society were invented out of imagination and dream quests that were induced by drugs. Now that its looked as a weakness, we now have so many users whose only intent is fun, not transformation.
In regard to what has happened to us people, Nothing has happened. there are just too many of us, and like rats in a cage, we prey on each other. If you have to look at the fault of others, then blame your government agencies, and pushy ethical groups that feel its their way or face punishment. the Gov, and these groups enable a philosophy of greed where you can have anything and where glutony is a virtue as well as a means to advance our society.

Its our perception that molds society, and our own shame and greed that transform people into animals. If you were accused of pedophilia (assuming you were inocent) would you want quick action or a chance to prove your inocense?

I agree!!!!! It's about time that the child molestors and abusers have to stand up and face their due punishment. I can't understand how the justice system can keep letting them out only for them to hurt another child. We are harder on someone who robs people than we are the rapists and child abusers. My opinion is that child predators should be castrated or given the death penalty so they can't hurt anymore children. Our children should always come first. And as for letting your kids dress skimpy, it makes me crazy to see these little girls dressed like grown ups. It's very sad!

We have our priorities screwed up. I believe that all pedophiles should be jailed for life. They can't stop what they to children. It's like telling a straight man to become gay when you tell pedophiles to stop. I think it is retarded to let sexual convicts to live in a neighborhood filled with children. Pedophiles are a menace to society and we need more strict rules to handle them.

The only way is to remove them from us. Put them in camp and give them therapy. Some of them hate what they do, but that goes to prove that they can't stop themselves.

And read this article. This British rock singer is only serving three years for molesting two young girls in Vietnam. Only 3 years and then he is free to molest more without getting caught. What a dumb world we live in.

Well, I'm not allowed to suggest capital punishment for the pedophiles, because I was in Yahoo violation for suggesting capital punishment for the veterans of foreign wars. Yahoo said that it was a threat of violence or I was advocating violence and was told to refer to our Community Guidelines. However, if you read Exodus, it clearly demands life from the one that took human life. It offers no exceptions. No taking of life for Iraqi freedom or to fight terrorism. Yes, according to Exodus, child murderers would be stoned, whether they are murdering the children of Iraq or murdering the children of suburban America.
I think that we are a long way from "liberty and justice for all" as stated in the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Justice would be to take the life of the one that took human life and there are no exceptions to the word of God, because God is great. However, I'm worried that God would be in violation of Yahoo and that Almighty God himself would be referred to the Community Guidelines.
