Some teen being a good samaratian, I would say teens have lots of energy but also an obligation of pitching in at home/home work.

My parents use to say, homework/chores come first and the the famous extra curricular interests.

No you can volunteer for as long as you like no time limit

I would say a year at most coz then you'll no longer be a 15 year old
