Your story is rather interesting but you have not proven how being a medium to the spiritual world is demonic. I am speaking to you as someone that is surrounded by mediums, it is not demonic.
The thing that we do not understand is that our minds are very powerful. We are all pyshic. We can all make things happen. Now i will admit that there are times when people will use energies to harm you. The thing is you have to know where you stand and what you stand for not to mention who you believe in. You have to accept that at the end of the day God is in all control. The only way you can get harm is if you leave yourself unguarded.
When dealing with mediums you have to remember not to disclose too much personal information about yourself. In turn when the claim to have manifestations you use this information to make them prove themselves to you. There are fake ones out there. Some where during your story i got the feeling that you were being deceived. They gave you information but never bothered to tell you anything that would make an impact on your life in any way for the better.
Never be afraid to make them prove themselves. Spirits are there to educate us not to have their way with us. Never be afraid to make an entity prove itself to you. Becareful not to challenge them however. But they must prove themselves or leave especially when you did not summon them.

freaky.... I don't think the spirits were human... I think the parents should not have disowned their child... should have prayed for him... he obviously needed help from the only one that has complete control over the spirits... God.
