so try going through your local yellow pages, and finding boarding kennels, dog breeders etc, write to them,a lot of these places will take on people for work experience,or buy Our Dogs/Dog World papers, out every week, they quite often have job oppurtunitys,or courses with relevant certificates you may need to become groomer, trainer etc,
tons of luck though, and well done for taking the initiative yourself

I agree with you that the word "love" is way WAY overused. However, I can vouch for the fact that teenagers ARE capable of real and lasting love. My husband and I met when we were teenagers (I was 17 and he was 19) and ten years later we are still together, we are married and have a beautiful baby girl. We have been through really tough times, and really fun times. And I would say that we are still in love. But these days for us, it's not only the mushy, lovey-dovey, eerie-fairy type love that teenagers splurge all over facebook (although we do still have our moments, LOL) - it's now also the pay-the-bills-together, own-a-car-together, walk-the-dog-together kind of love now. A little bit more mature. After so much time, you learn to love each other in different ways. I think it also comes down to individual people, and how serious they want to take a relationship, and how seriously they take the word "love". It also comes down to teenagers' raging emotions and hormones. It's TOUGH being a teenager. I remember it well. Another thing I've come to realise is that SAYING "I love you" and actually MEANING it are two different things. When you go through hard times, the real love is what can keep you together - the lovey-dovey fluffy stuff is not enough. That's just my perspective anyway. Hope that helps shed a bit of light.

Hiya,
I wanted to do animal care of some sort in yr 10
In the end i had to work at a nursery because you have 2 be 16 so that you're insured if anything happens to you, this is the minimum age to get insured , e.g bit etc
Hope this helps, i'd consider something else

Have you checked all possible places vet clinics, pounds, rescue shelters, farms, kennels, stables, etc.? Offer to volunteer until a job opening becomes available. This way when they need to hire help you already have your foot in the door.

at the zoo or cattery or dog kennels or another vets nearby or a local town nearer to u? explore ur options. im sure theres many more or OMG! RSPCA. ask them. they will definately need help with an extra volunteer.

Call some shelters and some rescue groups and ask about helping out somehow. Lots of these places need people to spend time with cats and dogs so they get more socialized and it also keeps them happier. There are cat rescue groups that also need volunteers to come play with kittens so they get used to people.

Teenagers should be sent to the mills to work, or down the mines or up the chimneys! and just pay them bread and water.

Talking of bread, I must go to the shop for my Hovis.

;-)

Seriously tho, if your heart is set on working with animals, just phone up every vets, stables or RSPCA centre in your area, and keep doing it until they get sick of you asking, and they will take you on. Good luck with it.

I am not familier with the area you live in, However I would check stables and farms in the area if any are there. they may be able to pay you under the table.
