computer turns on after pressing switch twice?

my computerwill come on but no video or anything when i press the power switch. i turn it off then back on and it works fine. i have to do the same thing when it restarts. its and older socket 370 celeron computer no name on it

it could be that your switch is faulty or loose. if its old, you might want to consider buying a new machine or upgrading some of the components. if not, bring it to a computer shop and let them check the switch

Check the motherboard and power supply for bad capacitors, if you have to keep hitting the power button it may be the that or like the previous poster, simply a bad switch.
