corruption is growing in India because of one sole reason: GREED. People are never happy with what they have. the always want more.
It can never be reduced totally. However, if you think outta the box.....(here goes...) :
1.honest officials should be rewarded regularly..who cares about film awards and other crap..give awards to honest officials! and not just a trophy...newspaper headlines, sometimes even promotions for consistent performers!
2. and any1 found taking a bribe should be fined double the fine amount!
maybe it wont be effective, maybe it will..but we have to try! and lastly, but DEFINITELY not the least, you yourself-stop giving and taking those bribes!

After Independence there are true politicians: They are very simple and honest; Like Kamarajar . They are not worried for them and their family: They are worried about the country and people
But now-a-days, politicians are 'wealthy, luxurious and stylish"
There is egoism between the leaders &partiees.
So they have to make money to run their party and politics
Whether it is possible toreduce?
my straight answer is no:
even dictators are making money by corruption ( not only in India)
how to reduce?
not possible: then how it is possibel to give way
If you and me are doing the corruption we both will dsicuss and reduce or stiop
Our country in most of the places it is playing a vital role: how to stop: No..........no..........no
Where to earn? There starts the corruption.

The main reason is the large number of barriers created in the process. The more doors in the process, the more the guards and only those willing to 'salute' them or those with muscle power pass through them. Here the guards are bureaucrats and politicians and the doors are various restrictions, permissions, clearances etc.Reducing the red-tape is the way to reduce corruption.

Corruption is basic to the unevolved human mind. It is all over the world. In india it has not yet grown to the point at which it is so bad that the masses revolt against it. Every phenomemon has a beginning, a peak, and its downfall or end. When a bad phenomenon gets to be too bad then it will fall.
