last night while watching i thought paula was fuzzy in the head.....she was slurring her words and acting weird.......do u think shes addicted to pain meds or a drunk?

She was probably just tired. Both Randy and Simon have defended how she acts and say that people are just looking for something that isn't there. She doesn't drink apparently. Too much riding on her career to screw it up, don't you think? The rumors are all more than likely publicity stunts.

Well, I would say if she is on something (which I am not entirely sure she is), I would say it is pain meds, not alcohol. And based on the severe injuries she has had, who could blame her? Why is everyone so horrified that Paula Abdul could be on pain meds. Look at Brett Farve (GB Packers 3 time MVP), he admitted he was addicted to vicodin. Dr. Greg House is a big pain pill addict, and he is one of the most popular and admired TV doctors.

Listen, I am not a huge Paula Abdul fan or anything, but I think it is just insane that they keep playing that clip of her doing that interview on the news. Big deal! Get over it! If I'd survived a plane crash, I'd be on something too!

There is no debating that something is up with her, I am leaning on the side of pain killers or something like that...because...drunks (I should know have been there enough myself,,,no judgement here)...anyway...drunks make no sense and slur...I think she was slurring but made sense...
Plus she has had some really serious health issues in the past and may be in severe pain, it is impossible to tell, i think she is the only one who knows for sure...

I know if I had to listen to some of the crap they do, I would drink and heavily!!!!!

I'm with you on that one. I think she's drunk.

If you look back at some of the other shows this season, she slurps on her plastic coke cup a little too lovingly!

I know there's plenty of Paula fans out there who might argue she's fine, she's tired, she's just a bit wacky etc etc, but really? Have you seen her behaviour?

Doesn't add a whole lot of credibility to her as a judge, and a shame that so many young viewers watching the show get to see someone who's clearly off their head in such an enviable position - famous and judging the quality of other's singing.

Her behavior often seems odd and over-animated. I think she has some sort of 'issues' albeit chemical use/addiction/dependency or something else - would have no idea what. She slurs her speech often and has a difficult time even commenting on contestants in a logial manner.

confident, she is. i'm hoping the instruct could nevertheless be large without her. The judges might desire to step up their interest now by using fact with Paula's long previous they might desire to win back the visitors. Now, Simon has no one to backs him up and no one for him to play with.
