I was mad a hell, and wanted to re-enlist. I'm too old. I'm still mad as hell, but now it's towards those ignorant people who have forgotten.

Exactly what those responsible wanted it to be. I wept for my country, hung a hand-painted flag in the front window, argued with friends about how we had to give up some liberty to gain security - even though the FBI was questioning people we knew! (They were 1/2 Irish and 1/2 Phillipino - but had dark skin!) I went to NYC and brought flowers to firemen, while the photos were still posted everywhere of missing people. Eye-opening experience.
It took a year at least of following what was actually going on before I realized what a force FEAR is, and who was using it for their own corrupt, evil, war-profiteering agenda.

I was pretty sure it was muslim terrorists. I was angry. Knew there was nothing I could do about what happened. So being pragmatic, I was quite sure that when we found out who perpetrated this act we would reciprocate. Unlike the times when the Dems were in power the Reps always respond quickly and decisively.
