I believe some people star questions just to be selected for the best answer :)

It's probably a way of saying, "I did something for you, now can you do something for me?" Or the old saying, "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine!" That sort of thing.

Probably. I only give a star if I think the question is really good or if the asker has picked my answer as best.

you're probably right, I keep it the same as before though, only star them if it's a good question. I just wish they hadn't removed being able to give some a thumbs down

I don't think most people do. Sometimes I star questions I don't even answer, just because I think they are good.

I don't star a question to be picked as best answer.There probably are people who do that,but who gives a crap?Pick whichever answer you want.
